Nearly 25,000 Left Without Electricity in Queensland and Victorian Regions Following Powerful Storms
Approximately twenty-five thousand homes in south-east Queensland found themselves without power on the start of the week after severe thunderstorms impacted the area, producing wind gusts topping 109 kilometers per hour.
Massive Ice Stones and Extensive Damage
Residents observed giant hailstones measuring up to seven centimeters in particular locations. The Bureau of Meteorology announced that different parts across the state had been affected by significant hail.
